Donna Bednar, personal trainer and functional fitness coach

My Name is Donna Bednar

Life is busy, prioritizing your personal fitness can be challenging. Let me help you maintain your commitment to build a healthier, more resilient future for yourself.

My goal is to design a training program that will meet your fitness needs wherever you might be in your wellness journey. I will adjust your workout to accommodate your exercise experience, preferences and injury history.

My Background

My formal education in biology and experience as a research scientist provides the scaffold for my understanding of exercise science. My teaching experience helps me synthesize and translate that science into language that my clients can understand. I care deeply about writing exercise programming that works for my clients. My lifelong enthusiasm for exercise will motivate you. Let me help you build strength and vitality.

My functional training program will build muscular stability and strength that will help you navigate everyday activities with greater efficiency and less fatigue.

My Philosophy

Meeting you where you are.

Functional training is not about aesthetics or performance records. It is about feeling capable and confident in your own body — able to carry groceries, play with grandchildren, climb stairs, and move through the day with ease and energy.

It is never too late to get stronger, strength is one of the most important investments you can make in your quality of life. Let's build that foundation together.
